The Choir raised £342 for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice through its Christmas concert and carol singing. The photograph above shows Sammie Robertson from their Development Office who came along to our rehearsal to thank us. We have also received a letter of thanks from the Chief Executive of the Hospice.
Sammie stayed on to sing for the rehearsal and really enjoyed herself, impressed by the friendliness of the choir. We lways give a very warm welcome to new members, so if you feel like a sing on a THursday evening, come along to St Thomas’ Church at 7:30!
As a finale to our wonderful Tour de France weekend, here’s a poster from Marie Curie to thank us for the all the donations dropped into the collecting tins around the village.
You should also know that on top of the amount in the collecting tins, the Saturday events and Sunday Concert allowed the TVA and Choir to donate a further £500 to Marie Curie, bringing our
Village donations to a whopping £663.34
Thanks to all who contributed to make this a fantastic event!
